Barry Sullivan Nor is it to be thought...that man is either the oldest or the last of earth’s masters, or that the common bulk of life and substances walks alone. The Old Ones were, the Old Ones are, and the Old Ones shall be. Not in the spaces we know, but between them, They walk serene and primal, undimensioned and to us unseen. Favorite track: Ett Ord Från Öknen.
Bruce Moallem

Bruce Moallem Orgelhuset boasts all the darkness and deep emotional quality that most great dark ambient possesses, however this album has that special something that sets it far beyond the rest. I found myself effortlessly disappearing into its dark yet dreamy world. Slowly and calmly melting into the fabric of unique landscapes I haven't seen or heard before. It's hard to put it in words, but there are certain albums that leave a mark on you, and this is one of them.
Henry Buckham

Henry Buckham The haunting feeling of being alone in an arctic wasteland. Favorite track: Polarsidan.
Danica Swanson
Danica Swanson thumbnail
Danica Swanson Lush, contemplative atmospheres, seasoned with just the right touch of melancholy. Do I detect a note of innocence - even playful, childlike whimsy - amidst these plaintive vocals, lingering organ notes, and wistful, hypnotic drones? Rarely do rigor of form and boundless creativity intersect so exquisitely. Let Pär and Åsa's mystical musical sanctuary enfold you, and transport you into liminal spaces on gossamer wings of mythic imagination. Favorite track: Polarsidan.
This Is Darkness

This Is Darkness Hymnambulae has brought many elements together to make this a truly unique and northern experience. Perfectly calming and contemplative as if in a dream of our early childhoods. This project takes Asa & Par Bostrom into new waters, and the masterful versatility of these siblings is obvious here. Favorite track: Ett Ord Från Öknen.

about

Hymnambulae is a music project by north Sweden based siblings Pär and Åsa Boström.

Together they’ve created an album largely consisting of tape recordings of organ, piano and voices, combined with deep droning ambient. Recorded during 2015, featuring flutes by Sergey Gabbasov.

Orgelhuset was intended as a mythological house between worlds, a ceremony taking place - combining the siblings' symbolism.
